Why set up a hosting company?

For many years (about 10), we always advised clients to have their hosting with a third party (such as 1and1, 123Reg or Fasthosts). We avoided the technical responsibility that comes with providing hosting.

However we have always been the first port of call for our clients when they needed help. And, even though the client's hosting was set up directly between the client and the hosting company (who had their own call centres), we'd be the ones on the end of the phone helping clients through their hosting 'bits & stuff'. So, we've been doing a lot of support over the years without having the control over the actual hosting.

Basically, we provided better customer service than the hosting companies... so clients called us first.

Our clients expect us to give them the best advice. We now have the capability to genuinely provide professional hosting for SME businesses. Our partner provides all the technical backup and support - we provide the client support and service.

Buying hosting can be pretty time consuming. Yes, there is cheaper hosting out there. But we're offering a service that we know is superior and is designed to enable you to get on with running your business and not wondering what icons do what on a mysterious control panel.

It's personal

When you call us, we'll probably know who you are. Some clients just call and say, "Hi... it's me"... We have no intention of having thousands of clients who end up being just faceless numbers on a call centre screen. When you raise a support ticket or call us, we like to think that we're servicing your business as part of our overall web expertise and services. And we'll get to know how you like things done and be there for you to help you maximise the web as part of your business toolkit.
